🏆Padel Ladder Rules for EzeePadel Weybridge
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Open to all players who are EzeePadel Weybridge members or regular players at the club.
- Players must register on Playtomic via the Competitions Tab. £30 per pair to join ( Administration Fee)
- Do not join the ladder if you are unavailable for most of the time it is running ( Feb – June)
- Once all players have registered, they will be added to the ladder randomly. Anyone joining after the ladder has started will automatically start at the bottom of the ladder.
- All participants are responsible for organising their own matches and booking courts.
- All Ladder Matches can be competitive or friendly (All participants must agree before the match commences)
2. Challenge Rules
- Teams can challenge up to 5 positions above.
- Once the challenge has been accepted, please announce this in the WhatsApp group to make everyone aware that this game is happening.
- Wild Card Challenges: Every pair is allowed 1 wild card challenge, but can only use this after playing at least 2 ladder matches. Players can challenge anyone on the ladder with a wild card.
- At the end of the Ladder ( end of June) Players at the top of the ladder, as well as players who have been the most active, will be awarded a prize ( voucher for a meal at the Minnow - our sponsor)
4. Match Format
- Best of 3 sets (with a 7-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set - at 6 all it is golden point)
- Standard padel scoring applies, with Sliver Deuce.
5. Match Outcomes
- If the challenger wins, they take the spot of the opponents. The opponents move down one position along with the players below them.
- If the challenger loses, both teams keep their positions.
- Scores must be reported via the WhatsApp group as soon as possible after the end of the match, so that the ladder can be updated via our Google Docs.
6. Activity Requirements
- Each team must play at least one match over the course of the ladder to stay on the ladder.
- In the event of a partner dropping out, you can join with a new partner.
7. Reporting Match Results
- Match results must be reported within 24 hours and emailed to Tascha: info@ezeepadel.com to update Google Docs
