🏆Padel Ladder Rules for EzeePadel Weybridge
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Open to all players who are EzeePadel Weybridge members or regular players at the club.
- Players must register on Playtomic via Competitions Tab. ÂŁ30 per pair to join ( Administration Fee)
- Do not join the ladder if you are unavailable for most of the time it is running ( June – September)
- Once all players have registered, the players will be added to the ladder in order of their joint PT rating, with the highest ranked players starting at the bottom of the ladder.
- All participants are responsible for organizing their own matches.
- All Ladder Matches can be competitive or friendly (All participates must agree before the match commences)
2. Challenge Rules
- Teams can challenge up to 3 positions above.
- The challenge must be accepted and booked within 14 days.
- If the team higher up the ladder refuses or doesn’t make an effort to play the match, they forfeit the match and the lower positioned team can take their position.
- Wild Card Challenges: Every pair is allowed 1 wild card challenge but can only use this after playing at least 2 ladder matches. Players can challenge anyone on the ladder regardless of rank.
- Most Active Teams in each category will win a prize.
4. Match Format
- Best of 3 sets (with a 7-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set - at 6 all it is golden point)
- Standard padel scoring applies, with Sliver Deuce.
5. Match Outcomes
- If the challenger wins, they take the spot of the opponents. The opponents move down one position along with the players below them.
- If the challenger loses, both teams keep their positions.
- Scores must be reported to the ladder administrator as soon as possible after the end of the match, so that the ladder can be updated on the website for other players to see: ladders@ezeepadel.com
6. Activity Requirements
- Each team must play at least one match every 3 weeks to stay active.
- Inactivity for more than 4 weeks will result in being moved to the bottom or removed.
- In the event of a partner dropping out, you can join with a new partner, but will start from the bottom of the ladder.
